ABSTRACT
EziOrder is an application designed to replace the traditional ways of taking order to a computerized system. This app helps customers to order without having to wait for the waiters to serve them. All they have to do is just scroll through the menu and tap to place an order. This new ways of ordering will ultimately save time for the waiter to take up orders and decrease the risk of losing customers' orders. The user of this application consists of admin and customer.
EziOrder gave the privileged for the customers to order food without having the waiters to come and serve them. They just sit on their chair's and scroll through the app and if they decide to order they can tap the menu and their order will be sent to the kitchen. Furthermore, admin can add, edit, and delete the food menus. Admin also acts to confirm order from the customers.

Project background
Restaurant/cafes/stall have been popular among the Malaysian to hang out or dine in with their families and friends. Living in busy life leads to more people chose to eat outside rather than cooking at home. So, a restaurant at certain hours or days will be crowded with people.
Most of the restaurant still practice using pen and paper to write up orders. Traditional ways of taking order using paper and pen/pencil have contributed to several problems. Firstly, customers always complain that they have to wait for a long time to order their foods and drinks. Secondly, sometimes food vendors lost the paper they use to jot down the customer orders. Hence a solution is needed to resolve these problems.
Living in a vast growing technological era where everything is on our fingertips, make me think what is the best way to improve this problem?

PROBLEM STATEMENT
Traditional ways of taking order using paper and pen/pencil have contributed to several problems:
- Customers always complain that they have to wait for a long time to order their foods and drinks.
- Sometimes food vendors lost the paper they use to jot down the customer orders hence will risk them to lose customers.
- Redundancy in making the order. For example quantity of food and drinks can be misunderstood.

- Customers that own an Android smartphone can install the application on their phone. They can view the menu as soon as they have finished the installation.
- Secondly, if they are in the restaurant and decided to order they have to register/sign in for validation.
- After that, they can choose the meal they want then click submit their order to the kitchen.
- Admin will receive their order .
TechNique
In the development of this application, JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) is one of the technique used. It is a very common data format used for an asynchronous browser-server communication, including as a replacement for XML in some AJAX-style systems. Android for starters can't connect to the database directly. It needs a "man in the middle" as for this JSON. The PHP script is used to fetch the data from the databases then JSON will retrieve the data to the android application.
